Block mounts are our cheapest way to display an art piece. Each piece is securely glued to a sturdy 9mm MDF backing and comes with a wire on the back for hanging.

(Please note that block mounts do not include glass or a frame.)

A print of the artwork titled “Hawkesbury Wildflowers” by Margaret Olley framed for our client Kerri. The piece is showcased in a light oak frame that complements its natural tones, while the soft white mount enhances the colours in the print. This combination drawings the viewer’s attention to the intricate details of the flowers.

It’s not every day that we get to put two frames around one artwork, but it was a double delight for our client, Tina! This unique framing a piece. As we explored the options together, we both agreed that the darker outer frame needed a touch of contrast. We decided to add a lighter-coloured frame that matched the highlights in the painting, creating balance between the lighter and darker tones. We added non-reflective glass to protect the painting, along with the matte finish of the glass almost mimicking the texture of the artwork.

We framed a poster for our customers, Pam, from Edgars Mission. The piece is framed in a deep walnut open grain timber frame, which adds a warm, rich texture. To complement the artwork, we’ve chosen a earthy green mount that enhances the overall aesthetic.

A retro vibe Frame for one of our regulars, Vikki, who loves a bright pop of colour. The original lithograph by Mark Strizic, titled “Homage to Armand Sabattier,” is framed with a vibrant green and orange mount that echoes the colours in the background. To finish it off, we’ve chosen a sleek silver aluminium frame with non-reflective glass, which not only protects the piece but also highlights its intricate details while reducing glare.

We are thrilled to announce that our gallery is currently showcasing an exciting exhibition featuring a stunning collection of artworks by talented local artists from the Kilmore Art Society! On show untill 11th of September.

This exhibition highlights the brilliant works of artists Jeannette Jain, Cheryl Eve, Val and David Corke, Maureen Runge, and Kerry De-Gabirelle. It’s a wonderful opportunity to see the local talent and immerse yourself in Kilmore’s vibrant art scene.

Established in 1988, the Kilmore Art Society is a not-for-profit organisation made up of both professional and amateur artists dedicated to fostering various art forms and nurturing the artistic spirit in present and future generations through educational initiatives. Besides promoting art through exhibitions and sales, the society actively engages in charitable endeavours within the Kilmore community and collaborates with other like-minded groups and institutions.
