Back pain has a habit of showing up at the worst times.
Busy weeks. Poor sleep. Long days sitting. High stress.
And while it’s easy to blame one muscle or one movement, the body rarely works that way.
Low back pain is often less about a single structure and more about how the whole system is coping — movement, posture, stress load, recovery, and nervous system capacity. When one or more of those areas are under pressure for long enough, the signal gets louder.
That’s why movement matters so much.
Not “exercise” in the strict sense — but regular, varied movement throughout the day. Every joint in the body relies on being taken through its full range to stay adaptable. When we remove that input, the system stiffens, guards, and compensates.
The low back and pelvis sit right at the centre of that system. When they stop moving well, everything above and below has to work harder.
Little changes, done often, can quietly shift how the body feels and functions over time.
If your back has been getting your attention lately, this is a gentle reminder to listen — not with fear, but with curiosity.

Your back doesn’t need punishment.
It usually needs support, movement, and understanding.
