Having worked with Joomla and Wordpress, Joomla still has its place and a lot of features that Wordpress lacks without a lot of additional plugins which are often now yearly subsciption costs that can make quite a difference in annual running costs for a website. If you already have a Joomla site don’t throw your baby out with the dishwater as there is still lot of committment to this platform
