We celebrated a special High Tea morning event to thank our valued resident ambassadors across our three Central Coast Living Choice locations.

Guests enjoyed a glass of bubbles and a selection of delightful sweets. It was a beautiful spring morning with a lovely outlook from the stunning Kew Dining.

🎉 Happy 104th Birthday, Bernie! 🎉

Today we celebrate an extraordinary milestone for one of our beloved Alloura Waters residents — Bernie turns 104! Surrounded by friends, family, and lots of love, Bernie marked the occasion in style at Davistown RSL Club, with a surprise visit from MP Gordon Reid to top it all off!

Born and raised on a farm in Campbelltown, Bernie moved to Sydney at 18, met the love of his life Verna at 19, and the two went on to share 68 beautiful years of marriage. They were truly two peas in a pod.

Even at 104, Bernie is a force to be reckoned with — he still drives, does his own shopping, and takes the stairs daily to his first-floor unit. He’s also the designated chauffeur for his daughter Helen, who is 85 years old.

A sports enthusiast, Bernie’s achievements span from dirt bike racing and cricket to a hole-in-one at Campbelltown Golf Club — where he’s honoured with a plaque! Though he gave up bowls at 101, Bernie’s energy and spirit haven’t slowed down a bit.

And it must run in the family — his sister in Queensland is also approaching 100!
From all of us here at Alloura Waters, Happy Birthday Bernie — your life is an inspiration, and your presence brings joy to everyone around you. 🥳💛

Living Choice Inter Village Bowling Challenge – Winners 2025! 🎉

What a spectacular day we had on 20 June 2025 for the Inaugural Living Choice Inter Village Bowling Challenge!

A crisp winter morning set the perfect scene as our competitive (but friendly!) village tribes gathered over coffee and cheeky banter before the games began. Then… "Let the games begin!"

From the very first bowl, it was all smiles, laughter, and spirited competition. There were oohs, cheers, Skip’s wild instructions, and score-checks in disbelief. Add some delicious hamburgers for lunch, and you’ve got the recipe for a perfect day.

After 3 hours of rolling fun, Broadwater came out on top, proudly taking home the prestigious trophy once again! A huge congratulations to all who played – especially the four Broadwater staff who joined the ranks!

Living Choice Australia was proud to sponsor the day with lunch and prizes– with 75% of players scoring something special. 🙌
