Back in the South Burnett

Well… after 20 years away, I’ve found my way back home.

I grew up here in the Kingaroy area, right in the middle of the horse world — competing, riding, and living the lifestyle that comes with it.
It’s a place that’s always felt like home, so it’s pretty special to be back.

Over the years I’ve been working with Emmett Therapy & Scar Therapy helping both people and horses with tightness, soreness, and those “Not quite right” issues that can be hard to put your finger on.

Coming back here feels like the perfect fit — being able to work with horses again and also help locals feel better in their own bodies too.

✨ Tapping Out of Tully ✨

Well… it’s official. I’m out!
My office is empty, the container is loaded, and even the horses have left the building. (If that doesn’t make it real, nothing will! 😅)
After many years of helping bodies — human and horse — feel better here in Tully, I’ve wrapped up work for the year and am heading off to start a new chapter closer to family and somewhere with a bit more “horse-approved” weather. 🐴☀️
But here’s the important part👇

Latching Problems in Babies
🍼 Helping feeding become easier
Breastfeeding doesn't need to be stressful.
With everything new in your life, this is one thing that should come naturally, all going well.

Feeding struggles can sometimes be caused by jaw tension, neck restriction, or discomfort after birth.
Sometimes babies need that extra bit of help to transition to the breast with ease. I have had lovely experiences of success treating newborns with the gentlest of touch and very minimal time.
The treatment can be done with bub in your arms, while they are sleeping or in whatever position is comforting for them.
Emmett Therapy can gently release these tensions, making it easier for your baby to latch and feed comfortably.
