It has been a few weeks now since an event that has changed our families life forever. I have had time to sit and reflect on events and firstly let me say a big thankyou to all of you who have sent love and support. It has made a huge impact on us and I appreciate all of you for thinking of us during this time. In particular the Nanango State High Family who rallied around and has provided food and support in so many other ways. I would also like to extend a huge thankyou to Trent and Stacey Collins and Peter, Drew, Bec and Jake Jackson who worked behind the scenes to support us and provide a location and food for the wake, for which they covered the costs. It ensured that it really was a celebration of life rather than the mourning of a death and for that I am eternally grateful.
A truly disappointing factor is the South Burnett Times profiting from our loss without consultation or permission and continuing to post articles using any means possible except from the family ourselves. There was a reason that we said no to an interview and they didnโt respect that and printed articles anyway. They didnโt even have the courtesy to give us copies of the articles; we still would have had to pay to read them. Human nature is sometimes a disappointment.
I would also like to confirm that Nadine Hinchliff Therapy Services will still be open for business. We have had to delay the start date a little, but the 27th of January will be our first day back in the office. To current clients and families I appreciate your continuing support of our service and we may have a slightly different method of service delivery but we will try and accommodate as many of you as we can. I am also making this announcement to discourage any other organisations from trying to poach our staff.
Again, thankyou everyone for your love and support and I wish good health and happiness for you and your families.
Kim.
