🐰Easter Indulgence 🐰

It’s been a long time between posting in Munchkin’s 3 and Me.... But the gang and I are still going strong using our essential oils in pretty much everything we do.

It’s been a wet Easter here so I have taken the time to indulge in what I love...reading and exploring the amazing properties of many of our essential oils and making and creating for everyday use.

When Mumma gets desperate.....

I normally have a beautiful facial oil that I apply every morning and night full of the precious big guns of the oily world but as always life races ahead of me and then I realise I am complete out. I have noticed a change in my skin skin stopping my facial oil and the fine lines and black bags are reappearing.

Enter my fast DIY remedy to keep the "black bags" at bay until I have time to order the ingredients to make up my facial blend.

🧡 Frankincense -promotes cellular health, aids in reducing skin imperfections, reduces redness and helps to nourish and revitalise the skin
💜 Lavender reduces redness, soothes the skin, antibacterial, contains regenerating antioxidants.
💛 Lemon cleansing, revitalising and refreshing.
💚Vitamin E carrier oil benefits skin health and appearance, smooths and softens the skin.

* Please note this roller blend does have a citrus oil in it which means it’s best used at night and be careful when applying essential oils on the face - always doing a patch test on your skin prior to using and also avoid oils getting into eyes.

Did anyone get this beautiful oil in today’s BOGO?? Here is a great DIY recipe. I love Lemon Myrtle I will definitely be trying this one!

BOGO Offer DIY: Lemon Myrtle Salt Scrub

Here is an easy to create DIY from today's great offer:
✔ BUY dōTERRA Touch® Rose essential oil 10mL
✔ GET Lemon Myrtle, Pink Pepper & Balsam Fir 5mL essential oils

What you need:
- 2 cups unrefined sea salt⁠
- 1 tbs Pink Himalayan Salt⁠
- 3/4 cup dōTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil⁠
- 8–10 drops Lemon Myrtle essential oil⁠

Instructions:
1. Combine sea salt, Himalayan salt, dōTERRA FCO and essential oil in a clean, dry glass bowl until well combined.
2. Transfer to an airtight glass jar.

To use:
Simply massage gently into the skin while in the shower, giving yourself a wonderfully invigorating body scrub. Wash off with warm water. Be careful as this salt scrub may make your shower slippery

🌸 DIY Perfumes 🌸

Fragrance ....after learning about this word it honestly scares me! Cosmetic companies are protected by a "loop hole" that allows the industry to keep their scents in their products as "trade scents" therefore not required to list each actual ingredient.

What we do know the word fragrance can also mean instead:
❌ Petrochemicals
❌ Phthalates
❌ Toluene
❌ Benzene derivatives
❌ Aldehydes
❌ Alcohol
❌ Preservatives

And the list goes on and on and on and on........ These toxins have a vast range of side effects ranging from headaches, allergic reactions, hormone disruptions and many more.

DIY pure-fumes are simple and easy to make and the best bit... you know exactly what’s in your products. These would have to be my favourite "pure-fume" blends at the moment and best of all when you use essential oils you get supportive emotional benefits for the oils too.

🦋 Today’s diffuser blend 🦋

2020 has been so emotionally draining.
I think it’s reached a point where fatigue has set in.

Today started like any other and ended up with a phone call to pick up the youngest from the sick bay at school. To help introduce a little calm to the farm here at home I have popped on this beautiful blend.

Tangerine to uplift the the mood, promoting feelings of abundance and cheerfulness.

Frankincense to dispel negative feelings and promote feelings of relaxation and a balanced mood.

Patchouli for calming the emotions when you feel overwhelmed and to help harmonise the mood.
