South Burnett CTC Inc is seeking a Family Support Practitioner to join our team in a part-time role (approximately 52.5 hours per fortnight).

This position requires a Tertiary qualification (University level, 3 or 4 year degree) in Social Work, Human Services or a related field. The role is classified Level 4 of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, with an hourly rate of $44.58.

As a Family Support Practitioner, you will work directly with families experiencing complex challenges, providing practical, strengths-based support focused on child safety, wellbeing, and early intervention.

The role involves building trusted relationships, assessing needs, and working alongside families to develop tailored support strategies that respond to their unique circumstances.

You will be part of a collaborative, community-based organisation that values professional judgement, flexibility, and a holistic approach to supporting children and families.

CTC Services will be available throughout the festive season, with our Murgon and Kingaroy Community Services Offices only closed on public holidays.

Our Partners In Foster Care, The Gumnut Place, Nanango Neighbourhood Centre, Disability Services and Enterprise Centre offices will close Christmas Eve and re-open on Monday 5 January 2026.
