an assist patients with acute minor illnesses, immunisations, repeat prescriptions and women's health. Our friendly reception staff will assist you with any enquiries you may have. For your convenience Launceston Pathology is onsite daily for any blood tests you may require. We are located next door to Epic Pharmacy for all your medication management. Flu Vaccinations Available Tomorrow!

Newstead Medical is running our final Carpark Flu Clinic of the season tomorrow.

Flu vaccines are available for everyone aged 5 and over, and appointments are designed for ease and comfort right from your car.

Dr James Pankhurst has commenced working with us this year Kings Meadows Medical Centre.

Originally from New Zealand, he migrated to Tassie in 2012, studying medicine at University of Tasmania and working at the LGH from 2018-2023, primarily in surgical disciplines.

We’re thrilled he’s made the move into General Practice. Having bought a house with his wife in Kings Meadows 3 years ago, he plans to be with us for the long-term and is accepting new and Newstead Medical patients.
