If you knew only one breathwork tool, let it be this one to calm the mind and relieve stress.

The vibrations created by Bhramari Pranayama, or otherwise called ā€˜Humming Bee Breathe’, feel like a soothing, warm hug to the nervous system.
This breathwork practice will reduce anxiety whilst enhancing mental clarity.

How to practice:
1. Sit comfortably, eyes closed, focussing on your breath
2. Use Shanmukhi Mudra: thumbs closing ears, fingers gently covering eyes, nose and mouth
3. Breath in, creating a soft snoring sound
4. Exhale with a gentle hum, visualising the sound flowing through your Third Eye Chakra
Repeat 6-8 times and feel the shift within

Yoga is not just about what happens on the mat, it is also about living the practice off the mat

A practice which is accessible to everyone, regardless of flexibility, age or accessibility to a studio.

The 8 limbs of yoga weave into our lives in a multitude of ways. It’s the way you listen and speak to people, manage your impulses, how you show up in the world on the good and the bad days.

You can practice yoga on the mat, but you live yoga everywhere else

Get to know BURN Studio owner and teacher, Chrissy šŸŒž

Chrissy began practicing yoga at 16 and now with a wealth of knowledge behind her, she is guiding others through their own journey.

Her relationship with the practice has always been about more than movement, it’s supported her for decades in all facets of her life.

When she found Vinyasa, a moving meditation, she found a practice that helped her slow down, listen deeper, deal with emotions and come home to herself again and again.

This is the heart of BURN
movement not as performance, but as connection.

Expect to find her in the warmth of the studio instructing these classes:

✨ Welcome Sarah ✨
she joined us for her first Heated Vinyasa at Burn and then stayed to share a little bit about her experience as a postpartum mum.

She had been searching for a space to reconnect with her body, to soften the tension she’d been holding and to take a moment that was just hers.

This practice isn’t about how it looks, it is about how it feels to move, to breathe and to be in your body, just as you are.

In the warmth of the heated studio, with breath as a guide, the body begins to open. Strength and flexibility builds gently and space returns where it’s been missing.

And as Sarah mentioned when stepping out, you’re then met with the cool coastal air. Our community often speak about the feeling this provides them with, they leave class refreshed, energised and with more clarity.

Explore a quiet, grounding practice that focuses on slowing down and softening.

Particularly supportive for anyone feeling overwhelmed or anxious, this class invites you to turn inwards. Taking a moment from the day to pause, settle the nervous system and rest in stillness.

Also beneficial for those wanting to improve flexibility, recover from physical activity/injury or simply find a meditative practice.

By combining breath led somatic movement with long held passive poses, the body is invited to release tension. Here you will reach into deeper layers of fascia, joints and ligaments than in other yoga styles.
