Contract Cleaner Required – Kingston Medical Centre

Limestone Coast Health Unit Trust is seeking a professional and reliable Contract Cleaner to provide high-quality cleaning services in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Cleaning and sanitising consulting rooms, treatment rooms, waiting areas, offices, and amenities
• Maintaining strict infection prevention and control standards in line with Infection prevention and control guidelines
• Safe handling and disposal of waste in accordance with healthcare regulations
• Ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Essential Requirements:
• Previous cleaning experience (healthcare or medical setting highly regarded)
• Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards relevant to medical practices
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Public Liability Insurance (minimum coverage to be specified by the practice)
• Ability to work independently and reliably
• ABN required
Hours:
Approximately 2- 2.5 hours - Tuesday evening /Thursday evening/Weekend/Locum Doctor’s house (as required)

The rebates offered do not cover the true cost of providing high-quality, comprehensive medical care — including staff, rent, equipment, and the time needed to give each patient proper attention.

Our goal has always been to provide the best possible care, not just the quickest. Continuing with our current mixed-billing arrangements allows us to maintain longer consultations, thorough follow-up, and the high standards you expect from us.
