Interesting case, patient has consulted various specialists with no resolution. Chronic peripheral neuropathy with unknown cause, presents with sharp stabbing pain in calves and ankle night and day, tightening sensation around toes, and long-standing ankle swelling causing skin malnutrition, likely nearing ulcer breakout. Following one session of Photobiomodulation, the patient experienced 70% pain reduction. The patient was subsequently referred to a local nurse specializing in ankle swelling management. Significant reduction in ankle swelling and improvement in skin condition, at least 70%, were observed, indicating a rapid resolution is likely.

A recent literature review comparing PRP to corticosteroids steroid injections for osteoarthritis.

A total of 356 studies involving 24,435 patients were included. Summary: PRP outperformed CSI for intermediate and long-term improvement, and had a significantly better safety profile!
