A big THANK YOU to Janine at HayFresco for donating one of her amazing HayFrescos for Cadbury to trial.

The HayFresco is designed and made in Tassie. They are an all weather slow hay feeder, and lets face it, in Tassie we get all weather ... in one day!

Bon Appetite Cadbury. 🍽

Big shout out to Cadbury from the local RDA for being a tester for HayFresco. And an equally loud shout out to all the other horses, staff and volunteers RDA for the amazing work they do ❤️

We wish all our horse friends at RDA and right across the Southern Hemisphere - A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY! 🥳

In Australia all horses celebrate their birthday on 1 August regardless of their actual birth date. ❤️🐴💜

This standardised date is used for racing and competition purposes, and it sure makes it easy to remember everyone’s birthday. 😁

If you want to acknowledge your special horse friend today, you can offer them treats, spend quality time with them, or give them a special gift. 🎁🎈

Calling out to all cereal lovers. 📢

RDA South needs your empty cereal boxes (A4 size or bigger) for an up-and-coming project and contest. All will be revealed soon. 😉

If you have any spare wool, colouring in pens, glitter, glue or child safe paint lying around we’d appreciate that donation too!

Please squirrel them away for now. We’ll let you know the best date & time to drop them off to RDA South. 🐿

The RDA South team thought they were seeing double when Alfie, our new recruit came to RDA as he looks just like our long timer, Dylan.

Alfie joined us in May. He is a sweet natured pony, just like Dylan. Currently he has his training wheels on while we work out if he is a good fit for our RDA riders. But he really is a gorgeous boy who we think will do great! 💜🐴❤️

If we didn’t know better, we’d think Alfie was Dylan’s long-lost twin! Or brother from another mother. 😉

Dylan always seems so curious when our weekend feeders come to give him his breakfast. He wants to know who you are and what you’re doing. Maybe he should have been named curious George instead. 😄
