We've been making the most of the glorious sunshine of late, enjoying a BBQ at beautiful Tinderbox and some backyard cricket - how about launching a seniors' league next season Hobart Hurricanes! 🌪️ There was even ice cream for the cheer squad 🍦

Last week we hosted a Christmas party for residents, where families joined us for a lovely afternoon of food, music and laughs.

Congratulations to our resident Elaine and her husband Rex, who recently celebrated 63 years of marriage! 🤵👰‍♀️💒

Rex worked with Kylie from our Leisure & Lifestyle team to surprise Elaine with an anniversary celebration at our cafe last month 🥰 The lovebirds met at the Belvedere Ballroom in 1961, have four boys, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild, and say always being honest is the secret to their long marriage.

Expressions of interest are now open for members of the new Older Tasmanians Ministerial Advisory Council.

Up to five community members will be part of the council. They will provide advice and insights about issues affecting older Tasmanians, based on their lived experience.
