The Logan Women’s Health and Wellbeing Centre provides a full range of health and wellbeing services for women. We empower women from all walks of life to make informed choices and to actively participate in their own health care within a safe women’s only space. We aim to provide a welcoming and supportive space that nurtures growth, blossoming and resilience.

Logan Women's Health and Wellbeing Centre

Special Morning Tea
Monday 8th July at 10.00am on the Deck.
This event is a wonderful opportunity for you all to meet
the chairperson of our board, Anne McGuire,
who is going to introduce you all to our new Manager.
Anne will also be sharing information about changes in the Centre,
as well as being available to answer any questions you may have about those changes.

Please RSVP by Wednesday 3rd July for catering purposes.

You are invited to come and join our NEW monthly gardening group set meet up for the first time on Tuesday 28th May 10.30am. While focussing on herbs and their nutritional and medicinal benefits you will learn a range of skills for your own garden including comapnion planting, seasonal herbs, making teas and sachets and creating lovely gifts from your garden. Calsita Zagorski our new presenter will make it fun, practical and informative. Bring a lunch to share after the work is done.

Well so much change going on all around!! It certainly is a very dynamic time here at the centre. We Started a stall in the Rocklea Twilight markets 2 weeks ago and today found out that those markets are now closed down. So watch this space for uour next stall....it's a bit like a RAVe isn't it? We are really enjoying having the women from ACCESS and GCDAC on work expereince in the Tasty Fresh kitchen. it is so lively and fun....and so much is getting done. Thank you ladies .

Well this is a time of constant change...hourly even!! We started at the markets 2 weeks ago and discovered that the Rocklea Twilight markets are no longer in existence as of today. So watch this space for the next place where will be selling our delicious range of cakes, dips, soups and stews.
We are really enjoying having the Access women and the girls from Gold Coast Drug and Alcohol Council on work experience in the Tasty Fresh kitchen...so much is getting done. thanks girls!

Hello loyal members, just to let you know that our Cafe Lunch menu will now be a Self Serve Cafe from our Freezer in the reception. You simply choose from the delicious options avaliable . Plate up and reheat your lunch in the newly decorated Members Kitchen. When finished you can easlily stack your plate and cutlery in the dishwasher.
Sadly, our cappuchino machine will be unavailable until it is plumbed in on the deck. So if you, or a member of your activity group would like to receive a FREE Barrista training to make your own cappucinos, let us know and we'll run the course especially for you.
Thank you for your patronage. We are transitioning into the next phase of producing delicious Gluten Free baked goods for sale in the markets and are focussed on making enough sales to pay ourselves after our Tasty Fresh funding finishes at the end of June.

Going with the theme of "well behaved women rarely make history", I would like to share this quote as a tribute to one of those women who rarely behaved the way everyone expected - the late Margaret Thatcher.
Her famous quote was "If you want something said, ask a man; if you want soemthing done, ask a woman". Thank you Margaret for having the courage to be the Iron Lady.
