About Us

Peninsula eyecare is a long standing optometry practice that has been helping the people on the Redcliffe peninsula and surrounds with their vision needs for over 42 years. Originally established by Rod Robinson, Greg Fanning and Chris Hart, it was acquired in 2017 by Optometrist Hardy Lamprecht who led an extensive refurbishment in 2018 and has continued to service the entire peninsula with the same friendly and professional manner people have come to expect.

Our aim is to give people of all ages the best vision and health care possible. We routinely screen for glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration and, when necessary, liaise with local specialists for ongoing specialty treatment.

The independence we have gives us the flexibility to use the most up-to-date equipment and knowledge to provide the best optical solutions for all members of the family. Our extensive range of frames and lenses range from the more budget conscious to those who want to spoil themselves. And it doesn’t finish there. We support our products and the people who trust us to sell them well after you have consulted or purchased from us.
