Getting support for ADHD in NSW has always meant navigating long waitlists, expensive specialist appointments and limited access — especially for families outside major centres.

That's changing.

From March 2026, specially trained GPs in NSW can now diagnose ADHD and initiate treatment for new patients, bringing care closer to home and making support more affordable and accessible than ever before.

We're excited to share that Dr Chris Timms and Dr Rebekah Hoffman have been accepted into this training, and we'll be letting our community know as soon as they're ready to start seeing patients for ADHD support.

ADHD affects attention, activity levels and impulse control. It looks different in everyone. And for too long, getting answers has been harder than it should be.

Before completing his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Notre Dame, Jed served our community as a Head Pharmacist—a background that gives him a unique, holistic perspective on medication and long-term wellness.
