I'm taking on The Push-Up Challenge from 5-28 June 2024 and would love you to join me.
The Challenge is to complete 3,249 push-ups (or 1,625 if you choose the half target) in 24 days (approx. 135 per day) to raise fitness, awareness and funds for mental health. This represents the 3,249 people who died by su***de in Australia in 2022 (the most recent stats), which is why I want to push for better, and hope you will too.
Sound like too many push-ups? No worries, you can do the half target and substitute push-ups for alternative exercises, like squats and sit-ups.
It’s free to take part and there’s a sweet app where you get daily targets and mental health facts, track your progress and can check out our Team stats. I will be doing some additional encouragement throughout the challenge. If you want to you can do a donation of $32.49 a cent for every unfortunate loss or $324.90 or even $3249 would be totally awesome. All funds go to lifeline to support their awesome work in helping people who reach out for help in their hour of need. Doing the challenge and being exposed to the stats, hints and tips around mental wellness, which like physical wellness we all have, will equip you to look after yourself better and be better equipped to help your family, friends, and associates. The simplest help might just be sitting with someone or letting them know about some of the free services that they have access to for help.

Team a massive congratulations to everyone who took part with the push-ups and donating!

We hit over 100,000 + push ups :)

We raised $3318 in memory of the 3,318 people who died by su***de in Australia in 2019.
Overall there was $8.7 million raised.

May the funds raised for lifeline and headspace help them to help others in their hour of need.

In reaching out to the community and experiencing the benefits of regular exercise or increased focus around good mental health I encourage everyone to continue their efforts.

Today is the shortest day of the year, as we head back towards Spring its a great time to do some goal setting about how to handle winter. Peraps join us for a detox in July.

You can use mindfulness to help you with your nutrition intake to support your weight gain, fat loss or fitness endurance!! Crazy right?

Typically we think of food cravings as either "bad" foods or baby brain. BUT what we know from our amazing technology in ph360 - is that sometimes foods we thought all along were "good" foods actually affect our gut health and therefore mental health, our energy levels, our skin - or even create bacteria infections in our body 😟

So when you are now looking at your ph360 food list and you see a food you LOVE but now know it's harmful to your genetics rather than helpful - here is how you can use your mindfulness - to reduce the craving or desire for those foods.

‘Birthday cake doesn’t have any calories!’ We’ve all heard some version of this joke at a birthday celebration at some point. The implication behind the joke is that a birthday is a time for celebration and you shouldn’t deprive yourself of things you enjoy – i.e. birthday cake.

Almost there team, only 1 week to go!
It is Friday afternoon, try to get onto that 160 before we hit Friday night as so many people love to take it easy Friday night.
115 pushups tomorrow a great opportunity to catch up any missed ones. It would be wonderful for the whole team to go into next week at 100% Be it pushups, squats or another activity try to bank some workout this weekend.
