Klemzig Village Medical Clinic would like to welcome Lucy Martin - Psychologist to our team. Lucy will be available 3 days a week. Please contact the clinic on 8224 7500 to book an appointment
Lucy is a warm and approachable psychologist. She supports individuals over 18 years of age and is committed to providing a high-quality psychological service.
Lucy treats a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, burnout, relationship issues, and work-related injuries.
Using a collaborative approach, her aim is to help individuals better understand their thoughts and feelings and create meaningful change.
In her practice, Lucy uses a range of psychological interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
Her interests are in running, tennis, AFL and fashion. In her spare time, she likes to exercise, travel, and spend time with friends and family.l

Dr Nipuni Wanigasekara
MBBS, BSc Endocrinology, FRACGP
Biography
Nipuni graduated in the UK in 2016, and moved to Australia in 2018 where she completed her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
She has extensive medical training and experience in various hospitals in London. she has also worked at various hospitals in Adelaide, including The Royal Adelaide Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, as well as working in rural area such as Loxton, Berri and Mannum in South Australia.
Dr Nipuni emphasises a holistic approach to healthcare. Drawing from her experiences in emergency care, she strongly advocates the principle of 'prevention is better than cure'

Klemzig Village Medical Clinic is very pleased to welcome Dr Mussawar Saeed Rana to our team. He will be staring on Friday 8th August from 7:30am
Dr Rana graduated from Pakistan in 2024 and completed his hospital work in ED and medicine in Pakistan. Moved to Saudia Arabia in 2012, worked there for a year and started working in Australia in 2014.
Dr Rana worked in Moonta and Wallaroo hospital for 3 years and completed his FRACGP in 2018 and then moved down to Adelaide where he has been working since.
Interests include skin cancer excisions, paediatrics, men’s health, chronic disease. Likes spending time with kids, enjoys cricket and going to the gym.

Klemzig Village Medical Clinic is very excited to welcome Dr Jamilah Bardai – General Practitioner to our team of health care providers. Dr Jamilah Bardai will be joining Klemzig Village Medical Clinic starting Monday 4th August.
She has a special interest in women’s health, children’s health, chronic diseases, dermatology and occupational health.

NewbornsInSA is a voluntary, no-cost research initiative led by the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide. It aims to expand the standard newborn screening program (heel prick test) by incorporating genomic (DNA) and metabolomic analyses to detect over 600 treatable childhood-onset genetic conditions.

Through the project, the heel prick sample is used to detect over 600 genetic conditions.

Parents can opt in to be involved in this project by enrolling online during the pregnancy or up to 14 days after birth.

The RSV vaccination in pregnancy is available at the the clinic for all eligible pregnant women. You can book an appointment online or by calling our friendly reception team on 8244 7500.

📢 The maternal respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine is available during pregnancy under the National Immunisation Program.

✅ The vaccine is recommended between 28 to 36 weeks of pregnancy.

✅ Protects newborn babies from RSV, a leading cause of childhood hospitalisation.

Klemzig Village Medical Clinic is very excited to be welcoming Dr Rohan Herath to the clinic!

Dr Rohan Herath qualified as a doctor in the UK in 2016 and completed his training in General Practuce there before immigrating to Australia in 2024.

He has a wealth of experience in all areas of General Practice and his areas of interest are respiratory and metabolic diseases, including diabetes.
