When considering any cosmetic treatment or surgery, it’s important to ask the right questions:✔️ Is your practitioner appropriately qualified and experienced?✔️ Are you being properly assessed and informed about risks, benefits, and alternatives?✔️ Is your procedure being performed in an appropriate accredited facility with appropriate follow-up care?
A safe cosmetic journey is about more than just the procedure itself — it includes patient selection, realistic expectations, informed consent, aftercare, and having a trusted medical team to guide you.
Before booking any cosmetic treatment, take the time to educate yourself and choose carefully.

Loopholes. That’s what insurance policies are full of. The person selling you a policy often isn’t to blame and is unaware of the nuance of the policy they are offering you. Only solution is to be savvy and to check and recheck.

25/04/2026

Step 1. Get insurance that covers your procedure Step 2. Get quote from surgeon and double check you are covered for the Medicare item number. Step 3. Repeat step 2 if more than a few months pass between getting your quote and having surgery.

Is liposuction always done with an abdominoplasty? No, but we include liposuction with the procedure if it will help achieve a better result. This Patient had an extended abdominoplasty and liposuction of the flank, back and waistline to help make her tummy tuck result blend with and look more cohesive with the rest of her torso. Liposuction in abdominoplasty adds about 30 minutes on average to the procedure. It can be quite sore and can cause some bruising.

Most people don’t realise the mons (the area above the p***c bone) plays an important role in your natural silhouette.
If you’re noticing fullness, sagging, or a change after weight loss, pregnancy, or ageing, one of the most effective ways to improve this area can possibly be through an abdominoplasty . By removing excess lower abdominal skin and gently lifting the tissues, the mons can be elevated and better supported as part of the overall contour.
But here’s the key: the goal isn’t to make it completely flat. The mons is meant to have a soft, subtle projection. When done well, it should blend seamlessly into the natural S-curve of the tummy — not look overdone or out of proportion.
It’s all about balance, proportion, and respecting normal anatomy.

We get asked this a lot 👇
No — we don’t usually film or take photos during surgery.Your operation deserves complete focus, precision, and attention — anything that distracts from that isn’t worth it.
What we do document with photos and in writing, at the end of the procedure, once everything is complete:• Removed tissue and skin• Implants (placed or removed)• Any key surgical features that help explain what was done
We also carefully weigh all tissue removed, so we can clearly tell you how much fat, skin, or liposuction volume was taken.
This helps us walk you through your procedure afterwards in a clear, factual way — without compromising your safety in the operating room.
Your safety > content. Always.

Breast augmentation surgery using 405cc round high profile implants in a dual plane (sub pectoral). Two interesting things about this Patient’s result: 1. The apparent modesty of her cup size despite the use of quite a large implant. This is because any given implant size will look different in each patient. Cup size is determined by the implant’s proportion to you. So a tall or wider chested patient will need a larger implant to give her a C cup than a shorter or narrow chested woman. 2. Mild asymmetries are common in all women. The slight discrepancy in breast and ni**le height is present preop and postop and can only be changed with cuts on the front surface of the breast.
Duration: 1- 1.5 hours
Nights in hospital: None. Day Surgery
Time off work: 1 week
Time to driving: 1 week
Time to high impact exercise: 6 weeks
Can I breastfeed? Usually, as the ni**le isn’t disconnected
Can I have breastscreens?: Yes
Revisions: Breast implants do not last forever. Like any medical device, it will deteriorate, or you might change your mind about having implants
Minor risks (in healthy patients): 5%
Major risks:

Bruising after surgery isn’t just about the colour you see — it’s about what’s happening underneath the skin.
When small blood vessels are disrupted during a procedure, blood leaks into the surrounding tissues. This creates pressure and triggers inflammation, which is your body’s natural healing response. That inflammation activates nearby nerve endings — and that’s why bruises feel tender, sore, or even quite painful to touch.
As your body gradually reabsorbs the blood and the swelling settles, the discomfort fades along with the colour changes you see on the skin.
Pain from bruising is normal — but it should improve day by day, not worsen.

“Should I get a second opinion before surgery?”
Short answer: yes — but for the right reasons.
Another perspective can help you understand your options, confirm a plan, and feel confident in your decision. Good surgeons won’t be threatened by this — they expect it.
But if you find yourself seeing multiple surgeons because you’re chasing a “perfect” answer, a cheaper price, or someone who tells you exactly what you want to hear… it might be worth pausing.
The goal isn’t to collect opinions — it’s to find a surgeon whose judgment you trust.
Clarity > quantity.

It’s not just about the implant… it’s about where the “centre point” sits 👀
When planning shape, surgeons think carefully about how the implant and the natural breast align. With round implants, there’s often more fullness up top, so positioning the centre point slightly higher can help everything look balanced and lifted.
With anatomical (teardrop-shaped) implants, the fullness sits lower by design — so the centre point usually needs to sit a little lower to match that natural slope.
It’s all about harmony, not just volume. The goal is for everything to sit in the right place relative to each other — not just look good in isolation.
Because the best results don’t look “done”… they just look right.
