It was wonderful to see the positive lift brought to our patients, the smiles, laughter, and connection that truly captured the spirit of Christmas🌟❄️☃️

A Big Chop for a Big Cause

Our Clinical Nurse Specialist James is donating his hair to the Kids With Cancer Foundation Australia to help create custom wigs for children undergoing treatment. Our volunteer Julie will help make this happen.

This is such a wonderful example of the kindness, community spirit, and generosity we see every day at Calvary Health Care Kogarah.

Lets get behind James and support him raise $2750, the cost of making a custom wig for a child undergoing cancer treatment.

🎄 SESLHD Charitable Giving – Donation Drive 2025 🎄

This Christmas, our Calvary community came together with incredible generosity, collecting over 20 bags of food and toiletries to support vulnerable individuals and families across our local area.

In partnership with South Eastern Community Connect and , our efforts extend care beyond the hospital and into the wider community.

🕯️Remembrance Service 🕯️
Earlier this week we gathered to honour and remember loved ones who are no longer with us. The service was a time to reflect, share memories, and find hope through coming together as a community.
We lit candles symbolising Grief, Courage, Memories, and Love, reminders of the strength and connection that endure beyond loss.
Thank you to Dr Clare Jones for her heartfelt words and to our Pastoral Care team for creating a space of comfort and healing.

💙 Mary Potter Day – Celebrating 140 Years of Care 💙
Last week we gathered together to honour Venerable Mary Potter and the compassionate mission that continues to guide us at Calvary Health Care, 140 years on.
This special day brought together our staff, volunteers, community and special guests in a spirit of gratitude and reflection as we celebrated the legacy we carry forward each day. The lighting of the Mary Potter Candle, shared prayer, and moments of reflection reminded us of the deep purpose behind the care we provide.
Warm congratulations to our Mary Potter Award nominees and recipients, and to all staff recognised for their years of service. Your commitment to compassion, dignity, and Being for Others is the living expression of Mary Potter’s vision.
