Today we say a heartfelt goodbye to our wonderful receptionist, Nina.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Exercise, with a strong background in health, exercise and patient wellbeing. “Dr K saved my life.” 🙏

Those were David’s words when he visited us today.

David began his journey at nearly 200kg and has now lost over 90kg of excess weight, just 12 months after weight loss surgery. After appearing on one of the early series of The Biggest Loser nearly 20 years ago, he later underwent a sleeve gastrectomy. It wasn’t until he came to Advanced Surgicare for a revisional gastric bypass procedure that he started to experience significant weight loss and truly feel the benefits of surgery.

Today, David shared that he’s preparing to take his first flight interstate to visit family — something that now feels possible again.
