This week was census week at Playgroup NSW, the census provides a valuable snapshot that helps advocate for playgroups.

This Thursday 12th March we had 3 families and four children attend playgroup, ranging from 3 mo - 5 years old.

Congrats to Lydia who won 1st Place at the Koora show for the artwork she made at playgroup.

We welcome you to come along next week.

Our first playgroup on a Thursday in 2026 was a success.

We had 4 families with 5 children from 8mo - 5yrs old join!!

The children spent the morning creating paintings to enter in the 2026 Koorawatha Show this Sunday 1 March. They played in the sandpit and with a range of other free play toys.

We hope to see you next Thursday 😀

Hi all,

We now have approval to operate on a Thursday morning 9.30am - 11am.

We would love to welcome you and your families back next week Thursday 26 Feb, 2026.

After some recent confusion and the start of a new year we thought it was a great time to reintroduce ourselves.

Koora Possums Playgroup is run by Playgroup NSW and volunteer families from Koorawatha. It is not affiliated with Koorawatha Public School but we do have approval from the NSW Department of Education to use their facilities.

This playgroup is FREE and we welcome ALL families 0-6 to attend.

There are a range of toys, resources, indoor and outdoor equipment that children can use.

Koorawatha Public School is currently in recess. This means that there are no current student enrolments at the school but if they receive enough enrolments the school can be reopened.

The GA attends every Thursday to unlock the facilities and keeps everything looking amazing 👏
