I waited too long at John Hunter Hospital John Hunter Hospital is in crisis! The problem is systemic, largely due to consistent under-funding of JHH over many years.

The Emergency Department waiting times are unacceptably long, putting patients in critical danger and the staff under continuous stress. The solution will require a major system overhaul. Please voice your experience of waiting for medical care at JHH, or your experience working there in the following FB group https://www.facebook.com/groups/3617936468425619 All posts can be anonymous. The aim of this page is for the public to be in solidarity with our hardworking hospital staff and to inform the NSW gov of the reality of the JHH crisis - in the hope they will listen and fix our broken hospital.
