I provide counselling and psychological therapy for young people, adults, and couples. I also supervise and provide training for psychologists and other allied health professionals. I am an Australian Health Professional Registration Association (AHPRA) endorsed Clinical Psychologist and an AHPRA approved Clinical Psychologist Supervisor. I have been in clinical practice for over 15 years. I have
worked in a number of different settings including Adolescent Health, Adult Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol Counselling, LGBTI Counselling, Gambling Counselling, Trauma Counselling, Health Promotion and Student Counselling. I have extensive experience working with many psychological health problems including depression, bipolar, anxiety, trauma, domestic violence, sexual abuse, eating problems, bereavement, couple and family relationship problems, sexual health, drug and alcohol problems as well as other addictions including gambling, internet po*******hy and food addiction. I am highly skilled in supporting people experiencing suicidal behaviours and self harm. In addition to my clinical work I have trained many Intern Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists as well as provided clinical supervision for organisations such as Headspace, ACON, Samaritans, and Wesley Mission. I have travelled across Australia training 100's of Allied Health Professionals, GP's, School Teachers and Case Workers from many organisations including Centrelink, Lifeline, Life Solutions, Queensland Mental Health, Hunter New England Area Health, Catholic Schools Office in a wide range of psychological health issues and psychotherapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, EMDR, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Narrative Therapy.
