✨Meet Sarah ✨
I’ve been a Psychologist since 2016, working with children, adolescents, and families throughout my career.
After years spent working with children in out‑of‑home care and the juvenile justice system, I realised how powerful it is for young people to have someone who truly listens, believes in them, and supports them to recognise their potential. That’s what inspired me to become a psychologist, to help children feel valued and confident, and to walk alongside them as they work toward the goals that matter most to them.
When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me having adventures with my family. 🌞
What I value most about The Willow Tree Clinic is our passionate, supportive team and the genuinely warm environment we create together for our clients and their families. 🌿

A few of our Speechys' favourite children's books that they use daily! 📚

The Gruffalo:
- assists with stuttering and increases fluent speech.
- supports vocabulary development and descriptive language through repeated adjectives and character features.

The Brain Forest:
- helps kids learn about the topic of neurodiversity and more about how their brains work.
- encourages emotional literacy and self-advocacy by giving children language to describe their feelings and thinking styles.

Where's Spot?:
- encourages turn taking through its repetitive structure and engaging flaps, invites opportunities for conversation and supports sequencing and recalling information.
- supports early language development by modelling simple question/answer routines and reinforces core words such as - 'where, in, under, no, and yes.'

✨ Meet Connie✨
I’m a new‑grad speech pathologist about three months into the job and absolutely loving it 😊

My passion for this work started close to home. A family member received speech therapy when he was younger, and seeing the huge difference it made in his life inspired me to help others experience that same growth and confidence 💛

When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me reading or relaxing at the beach 🌊📚

My favourite part of working at TWTC is definitely the people, both my clients and my coworkers. I’ve also really enjoyed diving into speech and literacy skills and watching kids make progress they’re proud of ✨

Play isn’t “just play.” It’s a powerful tool for building communication, regulation, motor skills, and confidence. Kids learn best when they’re engaged, curious, and having fun - that’s why play is at the heart of what we do 💚
