Life sure can be a rollercoaster and I have had my fair share of curve balls thrown at me on my journey through life so far. Here’s a brief version (as brief as I could get it)of my story:
In my early 20’s unknown at the time I had the beginning of my auto – immune disease finally diagnosed in my mid 30’s – Sjogren's (SHOW-grins) syndrome is a disorder of your immune system identified by its two most common symptoms — dry eyes and a dry mouth. Sjogren's syndrome often accompanies other immune system disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. In Sjogren's syndrome, the mucous membranes and moisture-secreting glands of your eyes and mouth are usually affected first — resulting in decreased production of tears and saliva. Working as a Travel Consultant – I was lucky enough to travel to lots of amazing places throughout the world. Unfortunately, I picked up a couple of bugs that would hinder my body for the next 10 years. Was diagnosed 6 months after travelling and treated with antibiotics of which the GP said would kill bugs, not in my case battling on wondering why I was struggling with energy and feeling ordinary( not even thinking of my China bugs )after many visits to GP and pretty much told nothing wrong with me all in my head I started to explore natural therapies – thankfully someone listened to me, understood where I was coming from and was willing to help – which was at about the 9 year mark when I was just living on autopilot doing just enough to survive each day, living in a fog grabbing 10 minutes sleep wherever I could just to pluck the energy to survive, shutting people out as I didn’t have the energy to socialize nor did I want people seeing me this way, and a lot of people didn’t understand as on the outside I didn’t look sick. All the while working 4 jobs to fund my natural health journey and get to the bottom of the problem. After 3 weeks of taking natural potions it was like a light bulb came on and I was alive again. This natural Dr helped save my life and am now happily married, and a doting mum of 2 beautiful precious boys. I have recently joined doTerra (Essential Oils ) as a Wellness Advocate and look forward to sharing all my experiences and knowledge as my life journey continues.I wish I had been introduced to doTerra Essential oils earlier to help through these battles. I am having amazing relief with my auto-immune disease ,general colds & everyday challenges especially with kids.
