Assalamu-alaikum.
Alhamdulillah Muslim Funeral Services hosted our first sister’s certificate training course for our volunteers over two days this weekend.
This was the first of many small group courses we will run over the next few months to help make our teams become confident to understand the entire process - from dealing with terminally ill patients, what to do when a loved one passes away, the ghusl and kaffan, the Janaza Salah, and finally the burial process.
Concluded with a practical ghusl class and kaffan cutting workshop.
Thank you to everyone who attended and Insha-Allah you have all benefited from this course.
Allah SWT reward you for your time and effort in serving the community. Everyone one of the sisters who attended received a certificate of attendance and completion of the course.
Insha-Allah we will hold further courses over the next few months to cover all our volunteers. Watch this space.
Men’s classes will follow as well.
