Remember how I’m always talking about the amazing international community and friends you make practicing Ashtanga yoga?! Here is my friend we just reconnected in Mysore.
We first met back in 2012 as Nanae was in FNQ for the eclipse. We were connected by another Ashtangi, Mark Robberds.
We caught up again in Tokyo when Sharathji was teaching there and now in Mysore, India. Very cool.
Nanae has her own Shala and is such a beautiful, kind and caring human. My favourite kind of human ❤️❤️❤️

This 4-week course includes two classes per week and is designed to give students a strong, supportive foundation for a sustainable yoga practice. Through the Ashtanga yoga method, you will develop physical strength, flexibility, and body awareness, while also cultivating deeper self-knowledge that can positively support your daily life.

This introductory course is ideal for those new to yoga, as well as anyone curious about beginning an Ashtanga practice in a clear, accessible, and structured way. You will be guided by experienced yoga teacher and Gestalt psychotherapist Biannka Brannigan (ME!) with an emphasis on learning safely, building confidence, and understanding the fundamentals of the practice.

Participants will also receive additional resources to support an ongoing and independent yoga practice beyond the course.

Thursdays | 5:45–7:00am
19 & 26 February, 5 & 12 March

Saturdays | 7:30–08:45am
21 & 28 February, 7 & 14 March
