Almost a year before launch day was even on the horizon, Sarah and Rachael from Ohana Plan Managers turned up with an idea. Not a half-baked one either… more like a proper “this could actually change things for families in the NDIS” kind of idea. They wanted to build it right, with heart at the centre.
Back in that very first chat, Sarah’s son had sketched a logo design. My role was to take his vision and bring it digitally to life, so Ohana’s identity stayed rooted in family from day one. From there, every step of the website carried that same energy. Now the site’s live, and you can see exactly who they are in it. It’s practical, yes… plan management needs that. But it also carries their warmth, their fire, their mum-energy, their advocacy. The design was shaped to feel like them: clear, approachable, and quietly fierce about care.
I’ve got a soft spot for women-led business. And I’ve got a big one for businesses that make life better for people with disability. Ohana hits both, which makes this one of those projects that fills me up in the best way.
Sarah and Rach absolutely rock… and I’m stoked I got to help them bring their vision to life.
