Kyabram Regional Clinic

Kyabram Regional Clinic Kyabram Regional Clinic, community and family orientated medical clinic. Supporting Kyabram Hospital We provide 24-hour cover for our patients.

Kyabram Regional Clinic was established approximately 40 years ago in Union Street with one GP. There have been several moves and renovations over the past years to accommodate a growing practice, until finally reaching our current location at 98 Fenaughty St, Kyabram. Our practice consists of 6 full-time GP’s and 4 part time GP’s. Administration staff consists of 4 full-time and 7 part-time recep

tionists. Our nursing department has 1 full-time and 3 part-time practice nurses. This is a busy rural general practice in which all GP’s do procedural work and we have a big local hospital commitment. We have two satellite clinics in the surrounding towns of Tongala and Stanhope. Patients are able to mark appointments for Tongala through our clinic or at Tongala when it is open. The Stanhope clinic is part of the Community Health Centre; Kyabram staff will make appointments for Stanhope.

Winter is approaching, and with it comes a higher risk of colds, flu, and other respiratory illnesses.

Here are some simple steps you can take to help minimise getting sick this season:
• Stay up to date with your vaccinations, including your annual flu shot and COVID-19 boosters if eligible.
• Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, or use hand sanitiser when washing isn’t possible.
• Avoid touching your face, especially your eyes, nose, and mouth.
• Cover coughs and sneezes with your elbow or a tissue, and dispose of tissues promptly.
• Stay home if you’re feeling unwell to prevent spreading illness to others.
• Keep indoor spaces well ventilated by opening windows or improving airflow where possible.
• Maintain a healthy lifestyle with good nutrition, regular exercise, adequate sleep, and hydration.
• Consider wearing a mask in crowded indoor settings, especially if you’re at higher risk.

Small actions can make a big difference in protecting yourself and your community this winter. Stay well!

For anyone who didn’t see out previous post a couple weeks ago please see the below 👇🏼

We would like to inform you of an upcoming change to Dr Lawrence Tay’s availability at our clinic.

To better support our specialised services, from 6 July 2026, Dr. Tay will transition from general consultations to focus exclusively on Skin Cancer Medicine and Pre-Operative Anaesthetic Assessments.

We understand that this may be an adjustment for many of you, particularly for patients who have been seeing Dr Tay for their ongoing care. He has greatly valued these relationships over the past 15 years, and we appreciate your understanding during this transition.

The good news is that our clinic now has a number of excellent GPs available, and we are confident you will continue to receive high-quality care. To ensure continuity, we encourage Dr Tay’s patients to begin booking appointments with one of our other doctors ahead of this change.

If you would like assistance selecting a GP or arranging your next appointment, please don’t hesitate to contact our reception team on 03 5852 1888

Thank you for your understanding and continued trust in our clinic.
