From community advocates to quiet changemakers, these inspiring individuals remind us that later life is a time for connection, courage and contribution.

Meet Bill, who uses his experience with dementia to support others; Kim, a western Sydney GP turned climate advocate; Jill and her granddaughter Georgia, who provide end-of-life care and comfort; Sonny, who’s found new purpose in a later-life career at Bunnings; and Uncles Widdy Welsh and Bobby Young, survivors of Kinchela Boys Home who now lead truth-telling and healing initiatives for their communities.

✨ Each story shines a light on the extraordinary impact of ordinary Australians, proving it’s never too late to make a difference.

Great to chat with Dr Vinay Potumuthu when I was in Kyogle on the weekend and recieve a tour of the McKid Medical centre at the Kyogle MPS (hospital).

I’m glad to learn of two universally bulk billing medical centres in my electorate.

Daylight saving starts this weekend - ease into the change by going to bed 15-20 minutes earlier each night this week 🕰️💤
