Struggling to switch off at night? 😴✨

Sleep plays such an important role in our overall health and wellbeing, yet so many people find it hard to get the quality rest they need. If you’re constantly waking through the night, struggling to fall asleep, or feeling exhausted during the day, a few simple lifestyle habits may help support better sleep. 🌙

🌿 Reduce screen time before bed — Blue light from phones and devices can interfere with your natural sleep cycle. Try unplugging 1–2 hours before bedtime where possible.

☕ Watch your caffeine intake — Coffee, energy drinks and even some teas can affect sleep long after you’ve had them. Switching to herbal tea later in the day can help.

😴 Keep naps short — A quick daytime nap may boost energy, but longer naps can make it harder to fall asleep at night.

⏳ Create a consistent routine — Going to bed and waking up around the same time each day helps support your body’s natural rhythm.

🛁 Wind down properly — A warm bath, gentle stretching, reading or quiet time before bed can help your body transition into relaxation mode.

🧘 Calm a busy mind — Deep breathing, meditation, journaling or simply slowing down before bed may help settle racing thoughts.

💆 Prioritise relaxation — Regular massage can help ease physical tension, calm the nervous system and encourage deeper relaxation.

🥦 Nourish your body — Balanced nutrition, including foods rich in magnesium, protein and healthy fats, can also support healthy sleep patterns.

Simple, nourishing foods can help keep your energy levels steady, support concentration, and keep you feeling fuller for longer throughout the day.

A balanced snack that includes protein, healthy fats or fibre can make all the difference — especially on those busy days when life feels non-stop.

Some easy snack ideas:
