Fezzys Professional Care (FPC) currently has a room's available in our ILO-friendly home at Withcott. We also have capacity for flexible, personalised supports across Ipswich and the Lockyer Valley.

With over 30 years’ experience supporting NDIS participants and Aged Care clients, FPC provides personal care, community access, domestic support, transport (including WAVs), and access to our Laidley craft centre.

Fezzys Professional Care is currently seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our growing team in Laidley and surrounding areas. Must be available on weekdays between 7am - 8pm.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting people to live independently and improve their quality of life.

Position: Disability / Support Worker
Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care and daily living support

Assist clients with community access and social activities

Support clients with household tasks and meal preparation

Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing

Follow individual support plans

Requirements

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care (preferred but not essential)

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Current Blue Card / Yellow Card (if required)

First Aid & CPR Certificate

Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate and reliable attitude

Our priority is to an experience disability support workers that are reliable, consistent and most importantly, committed to putting the clients first! We want our support workers to build a rapport with our clients and be interested in their goals and willing to support them in achieving these goals.

We currently provide our clients one on one support services in the following:

- Daily Activities

- Social activities

- Assisted in home living

- Community participation

- Transport

- Week care and weekend care

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide high-quality support to clients with empathy and compassion

- Keep accurate and up to date documentation

- Work independently within the community or the participant's home

- Reporting after each shift using Connecteam.

- Support participants to achieve positive outcomes of their personal goals as stated within their NDIS plan

- Transport participants in your own car to a range of different services and appointments (Vehicle allowance is provided)

- Other tasks as requested by Management team when required.

Must have or be willing to obtain:

- National Police Check

- Blue Card and Workers Screening

- First Aid Certificate (we will assist if you don't have)

- Current Queensland Driver's License and own vehicle

- Certificate III in Disability Care or higher

- A personal phone to report case notes and receive shift notifications

- Minimum 12+ months experience in the same field
