🌿 Introducing Teepee Village - A Sanctuary for Neurodivergent Kids, Teens & Their Families 🌿

Something special is growing in the Lockyer Valley.
And it starts with a question:
What if families didn’t have to travel hours for support that feels safe, respectful, and empowering?

At Tribe & Beyond, we see the weight parents are carrying.
There are over 300 children with autism accessing the NDIS in our region — and likely many more who aren’t, for all kinds of reasons.
Families are doing the drive from Ipswich, from Toowoomba, from everywhere — and it's exhausting.

So we're building a village.
Literally.

Teepee Village will be a safe space for neurodivergent children, teens, and their families — a therapeutic hub grounded in compassion, connection, and community.

Here’s the vision:
🏡 A welcoming home or acreage in the Lockyer Valley
🧠 Services like OT, speech, physio, behavioural psychology & support workers
🎮 Activities for kids and teens: gaming nights, baking days, gardening, animal visits
🌱 A place where ND families feel seen, respected, and never alone

This village will be guided by trauma-informed, neuro-affirming values. A space where differences are celebrated, emotional safety comes first, and every child is met exactly where they are.

Because it takes a village to raise a child — but for too many neurodivergent families, that village can feel out of reach.

Let’s change that. Together.

What kind of support would light up your child's world right now?

Do you need 1:1 support at home or out in the community — someone who truly gets your child?

Or

Would your child thrive in small, neuroaffirming social groups after school — where friendships grow and they can just be themselves?

🤔 About Us 🤔

Building the Tribe Our Kids Deserve

At Tribe & Beyond, we’re not just running after-school activities—we’re creating the village so many families have been searching for.

We see the kids who hold it together all day at school, only to unravel the moment they walk through the door. We know what it feels like as a parent to watch your child try to conform to a world that often doesn’t understand them.

That’s why we do things differently.

We’re here to create a tribe—a place where ND kids can run, ride, explore, and just be themselves, free from expectations. A place where families feel seen, supported, and no longer alone.

Our sessions are:

💚 Neuro-affirming – We don’t expect kids to mask or fit in. We meet them exactly where they are.

🧠 Sensory-aware – Activities are designed to support regulation, joy and connection.

🫂 Community-driven – Parents are welcome. Conversations are open. No judgment, ever.

🌱 Child-led – We honour each child’s needs, pace, and preferences.

This is more than after-school care. This is a movement to give our kids the freedom to play, grow, and be truly accepted—surrounded by people who get it.

We’re not just creating activities. We’re building a village. A tribe. A safe haven.

📩 DM us to learn more, ask questions, or find your people. We’d love to welcome you in.
