New Leaf had an absolute blast at the Hunter Valley Zoo!

Everyone had so much fun meeting the amazing animals, feeding the camels and goats, and cuddling with the meerkats.

Days like this remind everyone how important it is to connect with nature, try new things, and just have fun together.

Thank you to everyone who joined. We can’t wait for the next adventure!

New Leaf Disability Support is excited to be attending a delicious afternoon High Tea fundraiser hosted by Hunter Relief Centre!

Free for New Leaf participants - contact the office and we will pay for your ticket !

🗓 Date: Saturday, 16th August

🕑 Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

📍 Cessnock Bellbird Uniting Church - corner of Cumberland street and Cooper street Cessnock

💝 All proceeds go directly to Hunter Food Relief Centre.

Our Glow Disco was a night to remember !

Full of colour, music, dancing, and lots of smiles. Everyone brought the energy and made it such a fun and inclusive event for our community.

EXCITING NEWS!!

Leeann has moved into a new home !

Leeann is loving her new home and feels so happy having a space of her own. She's especially excited that she can finally set up and use her office equipment.

Sitting down at her desk, tapping on the keyboard, and getting her schedule in order makes her feel confident and proud. It’s her space, and she’s really enjoying every moment of it.

🚆 All Aboard for Travel Training with Caitlin! 🚆

Today, we hit the tracks for an exciting travel training session with Caitlin! 🌟 Learning to navigate public transport is a huge step toward independence, and Caitlin absolutely nailed it—reading timetables, finding the right platform, and confidently boarding the train like a pro.

Public transport can feel overwhelming, but with the right skills and support, it opens up so many possibilities—new places to explore, more freedom, and greater confidence! 💪✨

Huge shoutout to Caitlin for their enthusiasm and determination. We love seeing these moments of growth and achievement!

Access & Inclusion; Exercise Class
This is a program designed for those apart of our access and inclusion community. This class not only provides exercise and water safety skills with certified swim instructors Ellena Morris and Lyndal Bridge but also a safe social group for all.

When: Every Thursday
Where: Kurri Kurri Aquatic & Fitness Centre
Time: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Price: $5.80 per person*

*those with companion cards can bring 1 companion in for free. If you are a support worker you will be required to show company ID upon entry. If you cannot provide this ID you will be asked to pay for entry
