Jaw pain isn’t always just the jaw. The TMJ and upper neck are closely connected—so dysfunction in the cervical spine can drive tension, clicking, and headaches.

Chiropractic care focuses on restoring movement, reducing muscle tension, and improving how the jaw and neck work together.

Research supports the link between cervical dysfunction and TMD, with manual therapy helping reduce pain and improve function.

Do you experience genuine pleasure or joy each day?

If not, it may be a sign your nervous system is under sustained load. Chronic stress shifts the body toward sympathetic dominance, elevates cortisol, and can blunt dopaminergic signalling — often leaving people feeling flat, unmotivated, or emotionally fatigued.

Joy is not indulgent; it is neurobiologically regulating.

Walking in forests and green spaces isn’t just a feeling… it’s backed by research. A 2025 randomized controlled trial found that forest walking significantly reduced stress hormone (cortisol), boosted immune function, and improved mood compared to urban walking.

Studies also show that spending time in green environments is linked with lower blood pressure, reduced anxiety and depression symptoms, better heart health, and improved overall wellbeing. Li Q. et al. Forest bathing and stress reduction. Int J Environ Res Public Health, 2019.

Healing doesn’t always look clinical.
Sometimes it looks like a forest path. 🌳

Attention Central Coast✨

I’m excited to share that I’Il now be welcoming clients to a new space in Morisset, alongside PhysioFemina.

You can still find me at Pacific Sport and Spine in Swansea
— this is simply an expansion to better support my fellow coasties.

This space is open to the entire family, with a special interest in women’s health. I offer a functional, holistic approach incorporating Applied Kinesiology, NET and Chiropractic care, with a focus on supporting metabolic and hormonal health.

For those familiar with Dr Anthea Todd, I collaborate with her in an online capacity and now offer one-on-one consultations in Morisset.

If you’re trying to find answers for your ongoing symptoms, SHE’S ALIGNED offers an additional supportive approach.

Herbs can support progesterone — but they’re not the long-term solution 🌿

Certain herbs are traditionally used to support menstrual cycle and hormonal balance. They may be helpful short term, particularly during times of stress or transition.

However, for lasting change, it’s important to address the underlying drivers that influence progesterone and cycle health — such as stress load, sleep, nutrition, metabolic health, and overall nervous system regulation.

Herbs don’t replace personalised assessment or care. Sustainable hormone health comes from understanding why the imbalance is present and supporting the body accordingly.

ℹ️ Individual needs vary. Always seek advice from a qualified health practitioner, especially if pregnant, breastfeeding, or managing a health condition.
