Newcastle Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Clinic Dr James O'Sullivan is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in foot and ankle surgery. In 1989 Dr O’Sullivan graduated from Sydney University.

Dr O’Sullivan has been treating patients in private practice in Lambton since 1998. He specialises in Foot and Ankle Surgery with a keen interest in management of the diabetic foot, treatment of bone and joint deformity and trauma. He was on rotation from Royal Newcastle Hospital where he completed 8 years of Orthopaedic training. Dr O’Sullivan then completed his Fellowship year in Dublin in Paediatric Orthopaedics and Foot and Ankle Surgery. He was a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, on call for trauma, for 10 years up until 2008 and he continues to further his knowledge in his field of interest with attendance and participation at conferences both here and overseas. Currently Dr O’Sullivan is embracing minimally invasive surgery of the foot and ankle as well as arthroscopic ankle fusion and total ankle prosthetic replacement.
