Reiki is a gentle hands-on relaxation practice. Most people describe it as deeply calming - a chance for the body to slow down and reset.
A session is calm, quiet, and simple. You’ll lie down fully clothed, and I’ll work gently with my hands placed lightly on or just above the body. Many people fall asleep.
People come for all sorts of reasons: stress, feeling run down, emotional overload, or simply needing time to breathe. Everyone experiences sessions differently.
Sometimes I may share a simple observation or insight if it feels helpful, but the focus is always on helping your body relax and settle.
If you’ve never had Reiki before, it’s normal to feel unsure about what to expect.
You don’t need to believe in anything for it to work. You also don’t need to talk about anything unless you want to.
Some people feel very relaxed straight away. Others notice the effects later that day or over the next few days. There’s no right or wrong response.
If at any point you feel uncomfortable, we stop. Your comfort always comes first.
I work intuitively, and sometimes insights or messages may come through during a session. These are shared only if they feel relevant and supportive. The focus is always on your body’s wisdom and what it’s ready for.
