Don’t wait for the fall to realise what’s been silently failing you.

30% of women who break a hip will die within a year.

That’s not a scare tactic. It’s the reality.

In a powerful moment from a recent Mel Robbins podcast, a surgeon shares the heartbreaking truth she sees far too often:
women arriving in pain, overwhelmed, and full of regret, wishing they had taken better care of themselves before it was too late.
But here’s the good news: you can change your trajectory.

Whether you’re 40 or 80, it’s not too late to start improving your balance, mobility, and strength. You don’t have to become a statistic. You are not destined for decline.

The next 4-week Steady, Strong and Stable program starts Wednesday 21st May at the Lang Lang Community Centre.

10:30 to 11:30am
Designed for people over 60 who want to stay active and prevent falls
Simple, step-by-step guidance
No complicated exercises
Real strategies that work
The fear of falling does not have to rule your life.

Take your first step toward confidence and control.

She walked straight down the middle of the hospital corridor.
Tall. Steady. Confident.

Because she had learned how to move well.
How to hold her body.
How to walk without fear.

She had been part of the Steady, Strong and Stable program, and it made all the difference.

If you are over 60 and worried about losing your balance or having a fall, you are not alone.

But there is something you can do about it.

The next 4-week Steady, Strong and Stable program starts Wednesday 21st May at the Lang Lang Community Centre.

They told you to “slow down.”

They said, “It’s normal to feel unsteady.”

They meant well - but that doesn’t mean they were right.

When did we start accepting wobbling, stiffness, and fear of falling as normal?

Being steady on your feet isn’t a luxury - it’s your birthright.

But without support, many over 60 find themselves sitting more, doing less, and losing confidence, one cautious step at a time.

Let’s change that - together.

Introducing: Steady, Strong & Stable

A 4-week, in-person balance program designed specifically for over 60s who want to:

âś” Feel safer and more stable when walking
✔Rebuild confidence in your body’s ability to support you
âś” Stay active, independent, and doing what they love

No jumping. No complicated moves.

Just simple, proven steps that meet you exactly where you are.

Even if you've felt unsteady for a while...

Even if you're nervous about moving more...

Even if you thought “this is just aging”...

You can improve your balance.

You can regain confidence.

And you don’t have to do it alone.

Ready to take your next steady step?

Join us for 4 weeks at Lang Lang Community Centre

Have you ever gone to fall and haven’t saved yourself? It takes your breath away…………….

Do you have a strategy to prevent falls? You are not alone if you don’t.
Unfortunately statistics tell us that 1 in 3 Australians over 65 will have a fall in the next 12 months.

Seemingly overnight we can feel less steady on our feet and we know deep down that being balanced and confident, is an important part of maintaining our independence; and enjoying life on our terms.

As a movement coach, when people come to me for help with their balance, most don’t have a strategy, its not that they aren’t willing, it’s that they don’t know where to start, what skills to develop, in what order and how to build better balance.

This is where I come in, on the 21st of May, I’m starting a 4-week program called “Steady, Strong and Stable” at the Lang Lang Community Center. Spots are limited so don’t miss out! Enroll with the community center. Please feel free to share if you know anyone who would like to feel more confident and steadier on their feet.

Moving feels different lately?
You’re not imagining it—and you’re not stuck with it.

Does this sound familiar?

You find yourself scanning the room, looking for something sturdy to grab—just in case. Moving from one spot to another doesn’t feel as easy or as safe as it used to.
You’re not alone, and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Confidence in movement can slip away without us even noticing—until we realise we’re hesitating with every step.
But here’s the good news: You can rebuild that confidence. In this video, I’ll walk you through simple, everyday movements you can practice right at home. These small steps make everyday tasks feel easier and give you back that sense of ease and control.

If you want to feel safe and stable in your own home, my 4-week program called “Steady, Strong and Stable” starts at the Lang Lang Community Center on the 21st of May. Spots are limited so don’t miss out! Enroll with the community center.
