headspace Frankston is beyond grateful to the residents from Langwarrin Community Aged Care, who came to visit our centre this week to present us with a cheque for $430, raised through the collection and recycling of cans.
We presented the residents with a certificate of appreciation, for their phenomenal effort -at 10 cents per can, that is 4,300 cans collected and recycled!! 🙌🏽🌟
It was lovely to engage in some meaningful conversations around youth mental health and the positive impact their donation will make toward supporting local young people and their families. So great to connect, and we are hoping to arrange to bring some young people to go and visit them in future.
It is so heartwarming to have so much support from our local community members, from all of us here at headspace Frankston, we'd like to say a massive THANK YOU! 💚
