👂💙 World Hearing Day | 3 March 2026
This year’s theme, “From communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children,” reminds us how vital hearing is at every stage of a child’s development.
Hearing supports speech and language, learning, social connection and emotional wellbeing. When hearing difficulties go unnoticed or untreated, the impact can extend far beyond the ears, affecting confidence, communication and participation at school and in everyday life.
Supporting children’s hearing is a shared responsibility between families, health professionals, educators and the wider community. Early awareness leads to early action.
