Woot woot! So awesome! This client’s labs showed she was in adrenal fatigue, which was really affecting energy levels, as well as mental health.

Motivation was at an all time low, and she was self-sabotaging her healthy intentions with stress eating and remaining sedentary.

I used to think my symptoms were “random”… like my body was just being dramatic or broken.

But the truth? My brain-body system was doing its job — protecting me — even if it looked like fatigue, gut issues, anxiety, pain, or inflammation.

😮‍💨The perfectionism whispered: “If you do it perfectly, you’ll be safe.”
😮‍💨The people-pleasing screamed: “Don’t upset anyone… just keep going.”

Self-care isn’t meant to be another thing you “have to do”.
au 's take on it is so refreshing — because she’s honest about her all-or-nothing patterns, her resistance to rigid routines, and how easy it is to turn self-care into another pressure-filled checklist. 🌀

What she does instead is treat self-care like a buffet: a list of options she can choose from depending on what she needs that day, without forcing herself to do it all at once.

And she calls out something I see all the time — creating a perfect bedtime routine can become procrastination (and more stress), when the actual goal is simple: sleep. 😴

Sometimes your body has to scream before you’ll listen… and .au story is a perfect example of that. She didn’t just “burn out” — she literally broke her back first, and when that wasn’t enough to slow her down, she ended up having a mental breakdown too. 💔

Emma shares how a snowboarding accident forced her into rest (hospital, back brace, the whole thing) and how that space gave her clarity to start her business.

But once she recovered, she went straight back into overdrive — running multiple businesses, studying, freelancing, travelling… until her mind hit a wall. 🌀

The moment she realised she wasn’t okay was terrifying, and it became the wake-up call that you don’t need to physically or emotionally break to finally take a break.

Your triggers aren’t random… they’re clues. 🧩

One of my favourite ways Chris explains this in the LIVE coaching is using **FUSES** — *Frustrations, Uncomfortable Sensations, Emotional Situations* — to catch what’s happening in real time, instead of waiting until you’ve calmed down and forgotten the moment.

When a “fuse blows” (snapping, shutting down, spiralling, people-pleasing harder, wanting to run away, symptom flare-ups)… there’s always something deeper underneath it.

And the gold is this: **every behaviour has a belief under it.** ✨

So when you notice a FUSE moment, you can trace it back to the story your unconscious mind is running — usually some version of *I’m not good enough, I’m not worthy, I’m unlovable, I’m weak, I’m incapable.* 🧠 Nikky’s example with her son is so real - it looks like “I’m annoyed he didn’t listen”… but underneath it can quickly turn into “I’m a bad parent” or “I shouldn’t have done that.”

That’s the work: not judging the reaction, but using it to find the belief so you can actually change the pattern.

Today we kick-off another Spark Cycle, with a brand new set of workshops to help our deep healing clients go deeper in implementing and embodying the Spark process :)

In today's workshop, we'll be digging into this diagnostic coaching framework - are they in FLOW, FORCE, FANTASY or FLOUNDER when it comes to healing?

Getting stuck in FANTASY & FLOUNDER is a sticky place to be in, because they struggle to even "do" the things they need to do to heal & be well.

FORCE is just as detrimental, and we often see this in Type-A, perfectionists, over-doing people, where they are trying REALLY HARD to "do all the things" to heal & be well, but it's actually causing more stress, trauma and burnout. 😮‍💨

How can our clients move into FLOW? That's where we'll be flowing into in tonight's workshop, to help our awesome root-cause healers become UNSTUCK :) 🌊
