Random Acts of Yoga

Random Acts of Yoga Hey check out a couple of free YouTube classes or in person at Udara movement studio in Hobart Until COVID-19 and everything changed.

Random Acts of Yoga was established by Rob Grubb in 2015 in Hobart Tasmania as a way of taking yoga out of the yoga studio. Since that time, apart from his studio schedule, Random Acts of Yoga has provided private classes, corporate classes, school groups, boot camps as well as the infamous Beer and Yoga classes. All of a sudden we are all staying home a lot more and our practices of selfcare and

health have been pushed to the side. In this new environment the Random Acts of Yoga idea seems even more relevant. Random Acts of Yoga delivers online classes live at your house. Live online classes offer the student the chance to connect one to one with their teacher and also the other students in the class. Via the Zoom app you can hear and see the teacher as well as other students and you get clear instruction, demonstrations and modifications in real time just like you would in a studio class. As we are all having to make changes to our daily lifestyle, isolation and loneliness are going to continue to be a great challenge to our communities. Online connection, especially through fun and compassionate yoga classes, helps people take care of themselves and their physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing. Rob Grubb is registered with Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT500 level. His classes are know for being dynamic, accessible and fun. Rob’s classes are inspired by modern Vinyasa flow infused with humour and kindness with love and a deep respect for the yogic traditions.
