Yesterday one of our participants and support workers were lucky enough to be at the Ravenswood Neighbourhood House. When a group of farm workers from Vanuatu 🇻🇺 gifted them with a song. 🎶 we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

A special project straight from the heart 💛🐶

During his support time at the Men’s Shed, Shayne recently completed a meaningful woodworking project — a beautifully crafted box in memory of his beloved dog who sadly passed away.

This was more than just a woodwork activity; it was a way for Shayne to honour and remember the special bond he shared with his furry friend. With care, patience, and a lot of heart, Shayne created something truly special.

Shayne enjoys his time at the Men’s Shed and takes great pride in the projects he works on.

Meet Shane, Shane is big on inclusion for all participants and support workers, often you’ll find Shane ensuring people are being included in activities and conversations! Just one of the reasons why Shane is valued at NOSS. We asked Shane 3 questions:

What is your favourite day of the week and why?
Any day that I am with NOSS /Bluegum because he gets such good outcomes!

What is the best thing you do at work and why?
Learning new skills to reprogram my brain.

If you could change anything in your week, what would it be and why?
I would change nothing because he receives amazing supports from NOSS / Bluegum and the participants are incredible as well.
