Today we want to take a moment to acknowledge and remember the service and sacrifice of all those who have served in the Australian armed forces.

We honour their contributions and reflect on the impact of their service on individuals, families, and communities.

Lest we forget. đŸŒș

This month we’d like to highlight the important work of the VeteranHub, a service supporting current and ex-serving members of the ADF and their families across the state.

VeteranHub provides a range of supports, including wellbeing assistance (mental health, housing, finances and employment), help with DVA claims and compensation, and opportunities for social connection within a community that understands the unique experiences of veterans and their families.

They can also help connect individuals with the most appropriate services, ensuring people receive the support that best meets their needs.

Earth Day is a moment to pause and appreciate the world around us. 🌏

Connecting with nature - whether it’s a walk outside, feeling the sun on your face, or simply taking a few mindful breaths in fresh air - can have a positive impact on both your physical and mental wellbeing.

Small moments of connection can go a long way.
What’s one way you can spend time in nature today? 🌿

Youth Week is a time to recognise and celebrate the voices, strengths, and contributions of young people in our community.

It’s also an opportunity to highlight the importance of supporting young people’s mental health, wellbeing, and connection - and creating spaces where they feel heard, valued, and empowered.

We’re looking forward to continuing this conversation as we attend headspace Launceston’s Youth Leadership Convention next week, and hearing directly from young people about what matters most to them.

If you're also interested in attending the convention, you can find more info here 👇

Quick Tip Tuesday 🌿

When things feel overwhelming, it can help to pause and focus on what’s within your control.

We often spend a lot of energy worrying about things we can’t change - but gently shifting our focus to what we can control can help reduce stress and bring a sense of calm.

This might include things like your actions, your responses, or how you take care of yourself.

What’s one small thing within your control today?

Looking after your health can be as simple as getting enough rest, moving your body, eating well, staying connected, or taking time to check in with yourself.

Small, everyday actions can make a meaningful difference over time. 💚

Today is World Bipolar Day, a time to raise awareness and build understanding of bipolar disorder, while also recognising the experiences of those living with it.

Bipolar disorder can affect mood, energy, and daily life in different ways, and everyone’s experience is unique. Increasing awareness and reducing stigma helps create a more supportive and informed community.

If you or someone you care about needs support with mental health or wellbeing, you’re welcome to walk in and speak with our team.
You don’t have to navigate it alone. 💚
