World Ophthalmology Day is celebrated annually on August 8th. It is a day to recognize and appreciate the work of ophthalmologists, who are medical doctors specializing in eye and vision care. The day was established by the Australian Society of Ophthalmologists (A*O) to raise awareness about the crucial role of ophthalmologists in preserving and restoring sight.

It started with care twenty years ago. A one-of-a-kind relationship changed cancer care in Australia forever. Now, the proven positive impact of the way we care has led us to a new purpose. One that’s bigger than we could’ve ever imagined.

From 2025, we’re taking our care to all cancers. The future of cancer care in Australia isn’t just bright, it’s more accessible and more wide-reaching than ever. It’ll take more funding, more training and more support. And the Pink Test is vital in getting us there.

Every Virtual Pink Seat we you buy during the NRMA Insurance Pink Test helps ensure people facing cancer can access the support of a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse, for free.

Buy your Virtual Pink Seat today at www.pinktest.com.au to help us take our care to all cancers.
