I wanted to add something positive to your feed!
There is a lot of doom and gloom out there, and so much fear mongering!
π Please know that you are in control. You will make it through what you are going through, and it will all work out in the end. π«
I know it can be hard to think things will work out, especially when you are in the thick of stress and worry!
β‘οΈ So here are some tips I do when I'm feeling overwhelmed by my life and what's going on in the outside world.
π I switch off social media! (the biggest one thats feeding your stress!), if its not adding to your day, take it away!
π I actively seek out positive videos, shows or news and I try to fill my feeds with lighearted good vibes. For example, I've started watching a lot of YouTube videos about subjects I'm interested in (currently its homesteading and preserving). Or I stream a feelgood show.
π I cook something comforting for dinner - OR I treat mysef to some takeaway where I don't have to cook or wash up!
π I focus on having conversations with my children rather than doomscrolling. Perhaps you can do something similar, or if you live alone, maybe you can reach out and chat with a loved one or good friend.
π Focus on a craft while you watch a show. For me I love to knit or embroider.
π See me for some energy healing, relaxation or counselling/ccoaching. Seriously sometimes we all just need to feel some positive alignment once more.
By just giving ourselves some quiet time or watching something positive, we can make a drastic change to our mood. When the world brings me down, I tune it out and focus on my wellbeing, because at the end of the day, its me who has to live my life and I can choose to do it feeling disempowered everyday, or I can do it feeling Empowered.
