As the mornings get darker and the weather cools, it’s easy to let movement fall off the radar—but keeping active is just as important through autumn and winter. That’s why we love our Heart Foundation Walking Group!

This is a fun, relaxed way to keep moving and stay motivated with the support of others. Whether you’re easing back into exercise, looking for friendly company, or simply want to enjoy the outdoors—everyone is welcome.

📍 Walks are local, free, and suitable for all fitness levels. Ask at reception or visit our website for details.

Osteopaths, Luka Di Fabio and Sarah Hargrave, recently travelled to Melbourne to complete a course in the assessment and management of concussion.

They’ve returned with the latest research and practical tools to help support clients recovering from head knocks, sports-related injuries, and post-concussion symptoms.

Common Signs and Symptoms of Concussion:
Symptoms can appear immediately or hours after the injury and may include:
🔸Headache
🔸Dizziness or balance issues
🔸Fatigue or drowsiness
🔸Difficulty concentrating
🔸Memory disturbances or amnesia
🔸Slurred or incoherent speech
🔸Physical incoordination

While many people recover from a concussion within 2–4 weeks, around 35% experience persistent symptoms. This condition is known as Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS) and can significantly affect daily activities, work, and quality of life if left unaddressed.

If you or someone you know is still feeling the effects of a concussion, we’d love to help.

🎉Celebrating 10 Years of Sarah at Bodyfocus! 🎉

We might be a little late in marking this milestone (we’re only human!), but we couldn’t let it pass without celebrating 10 incredible years with our extraordinary Osteopath, Sarah Hargrave.

Sarah’s dedication to her profession and her passion for helping others is nothing short of inspiring. Her genuine curiosity and thirst for learning drive her to continually expand her knowledge — always looking for new ways to make a difference. From completing a full Naturopathic degree while working and raising a family, to attending conferences on Long COVID care, exploring Buteyko breathwork for breathing dysfunctions, and most recently completing a Concussion Management course — Sarah is always seeking new tools to better support her patients’ health and wellbeing.

What makes Sarah so special isn’t just her expertise — it’s the heart she brings to everything she does. She blends her osteopathic skills with evidence-informed nutritional, naturopathic, and lifestyle advice to offer truly holistic, thoughtful care. And she’s always there for the team too — generous with her knowledge, kind, and quietly lifting us all.

Sarah, we are so lucky to have you as part of the Bodyfocus family. Your passion, wisdom, and generosity enrich our clinic every day — and we’re so grateful. 💛

Please join us in celebrating Sarah’s 10 years of incredible care — here’s to many more!

And a big thank you to Rae from for making the best Carrot Cake we’ve ever had!
