Mental Health Week is part of a national mental health promotion campaign, celebrated from 4-12 October.

Minds Do Matter is a statewide art exhibition celebrating Mental Health Week and promoting positive community conversations about mental health by inviting creative responses to themes around mental health.

In 2025 the theme is EMPOWER: Appreciate the little things. Catch the exhibition at Queen Victoria Museum & Art Gallery, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm from 4 Oct - 7 Dec.

FOOTY COLOURS | Our Day Program crew had a great time getting into the spirit of the footy finals while raising money for the St Michael’s Social Club. Everyone dressed in their team colours and came together to celebrate as a community- a fun mix of team pride and support for a good cause.

Meet Zac, our newest team member.
He’s resume began with ‘known for my infectious smile, dedication and willingness to learn’ He’s already showing us these qualities as he arrives sometimes an hour early, asking for his own set of knives and keen to learn the art of sausage making.

Zac was a frequent customer always stirring the boys about the footy, giving the girls cheek and then decided that he wanted to be apart of our team. After dropping off his resume, He reached out to APM employment services to assist him in making this happen. Big thanks to APM in assisting us to make Zac’s dream a reality.

Welcome to the team Zac, we are excited to have you as a part of our team.

Oh, and chicken kebabs have made a come back, made in house with Chicken Breast. (Pictured with Zac)

What an incredible day out for our Devonport crew on their trip to Mole Creek! ☀️

The adventure started with a delightful surprise—snow sightings on the way! After arriving, the group enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Mole Creek Hotel, followed by a beautiful walk to soak up the sunshine.

A huge shout-out to Michael, who has been taking incredible steps towards his health and independence goals!

With the support of his team, Michael has been enjoying daily walks to boost his fitness and has been embracing more independence at home by taking charge of his housework.
